Is better than the Devil you don’t know. This will complete the Mophie charging case issue. I got the phone case I ordered, which was neat but kind of flimsy. The magnets in the case were not strong enough to keep the phone by it’s self on my vent charger in the car. I got the snap on battery which did attach just fine to the phone but then there was no magnet to attach to a car charger.
I decided to return the extra Mophie I got which cost a bit more as well as the case and the snap battery. I am keeping the original Mophie that I was slated to return. I can always plug the damn thing in to recharge it. That is not the end of the world but I know that is not how the damn thing was designed to work.
I printed off the return labels and am headed up to start the boxing and taping fun. Then tomorrow morning I will venture out to the UPS store and drop them off so I get my money back. This little adventure will then be done or so I hope.
The Mophie I am keeping will at least attach to the vent mount I have in the car and as long as the battery in the case has a decent charge I should be fine. When this Mophie dies or I replace this phone is when this whole little saga will begin again and I know that Mophie got out of the battery case business and into snap on battery packs, which is fine it just doesn’t work well for me. I am sure I will adjust some how.
It’s been a decent Friday. Learned a little something at work and accomplished everything that I wanted and needed to. Now onward toward the weekend and what I hope is quiet time. The only noise I want to hear is from Gator and hopefully that can be kept to a minimum.
