Getting out

Good Early Morning to you.  I made it into the office, it was a decent commute but one that I really didn’t want to make.  I almost stayed home twice but kept pushing myself to make it.  Now that I am here I am ready to go home.  I got a decent amount of sleep but not enough to fully satisfy my craving.  Gator wasn’t wild about me leaving her but she liked the extra food I put out for her and went to check that out. 

I noticed that she ate some of her treats last night.  I’ve got a decent supply because she stopped eating them for a few days.  I can’t help but wonder if I am feeding a mouse when I leave food out for her.  I don’t think so but unless I had a video camera on the food and was recording I will never know for sure.  I like to watch Gator eat so that way I know what is going into her system.  I still think at times I am feeding a worm because of the amount of food that she eats – especially when she asks for one can, finishes it and then asks for one or two more.  I always think in those times that she is going to barf but thus far it’s not happened and I hope that trend continues. 

It was a nice calm morning, where you could feel the cool breeze but it’s going to get hot in a matter of a few hours.  I’ll need that AC to drive home for sure. 

My allergies are still bonkers.  I broke out the nose spray last night, it really started extra heavy about the time I finished dinner.  Going to sleep was the best remedy of them all.  Now that I am awake the cycle starts all over again.  I took the extra pill this morning and am drinking like a fish but thankfully it’s only water.

I am kind of eager to get this day over with between meetings with the boss and then an outside person who speaks English as a second language and has a thick accent and is a bit difficult to understand it’s not going to be a picnic.  The fun starts at 11:30a and runs until 1:45p then a short break and we start up with one more meeting for an hour at 2:30p then were finally done.  I will be exhausted by then if not physically mentally for sure.  Plus who knows what is going to come through the door today, meetings are secondary to any requests. 

I’m enjoying the boredom at the moment while it lasts.  Checked on Gator and she is in my room passed out.  She will be fine, food/water is out plus she sleeps most of the day away.  The grass people should be there today and my oh my how the grass has taken off in growing. 

Not much else going on at the moment so I guess I will post this and focus on some work stuff or maybe phone someone to chat for a bit.  Hope that you stay cool and have a great day.
