Just got a note from my Doctor’s office that he is out of the office this week. They asked me to call if I wanted to see the Nurse Practioner, instead of calling I just rescheduled my appointment and pushed it a month out. Not exactly what I wanted to do but I don’t like seeing NP’s unless there is something emergent and at present there is not. It was just a regular visit to get blood work.
Looks like I can sleep in and do what I want, an extended weekend. I already booked my time off for next month but of course I am on call that week and am asking someone if they will swap with me. There has never been a problem with that and it’s not like I can’t use some time away.
Really would have rather kept with the schedule I had but not in my control. I hate it when the doctor takes time off and I have to reschedule, it’s a disappointment and also fucks with my time off.
At least now I can relax for two whole days and do what ever it is I want. Since it's still Thursday the 12th, I opted to schedule car service. That's got to be better than doing it on Friday the 13th. At least I will have something productive done. As for the rest of my time I will probably waste it loafing, but then again you never know. It will sure be nice to get time away. Let’s hope that is the only thing that goes south this week.
