Early Night

Morning … Were back on the Monday Morning Train and it sucks like normal!

I watched some Firework & Drone shows on YouTube last night.  What they can do with Drone’s is pretty amazing to me.  While it looks complicated to me I’m sure there is some automation behind it that takes all of the complexity out of it. 

Eventually I got tired of sitting on the couch and elected to head to my room.  Watched the latest episode of The First 48.  Sad story about a young kid who lost his life over an alleged drug deal gone wrong.  The pain from his father was palpable and quite raw. 

When that was done it was time to get ready for bed.  The fireworks in the neighborhood started.  I could hear them.  They don’t bother cats unless they are extremely loud.  I’m thankful for that as I know some folks have pets that go absolutely nuts. 

Once I was ready for bed, I had a white firework of my own to blast off.  There wasn’t a big show but it sure felt good.  That lead to me getting in bed early and by 10p I was turning the TV off and the white noise machine on.  Mora was all cuddled up with me and off to dream land I went. 

I’m amazed at the little work I did with fixing the frame on my bed and flipping the mattress has made quite the difference in sleep for me.  It’s a water bed frame so just some wood.  I’ve had one piece configured wrong for 28 years and no issues.  Last month I heard a creek and though the frame was falling apart, that’s was lead me to investigate and fix the frame over the weekend.  I’m quite happy.  Although, I could use a new bed.  Right now I’m am pretty happy. 

Mexican food was good yesterday as well.  Had a little bit of rain to travel through and it poured while I was eating but was dry when I came out.  I enjoy staying dry and if it’s going to rain this is the best way for it to happen when I am out and about. 

Today is no meeting Monday, I think lots of people will be out this week as well.  Mondays usually start off quiet but it doesn’t take terribly long for things to get rolling.  Back on the meeting band wagon Tuesday & Wednesday – ick.  Really looking forward to having Thursday & Friday off.  Right now I’m just going to enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts. 

Heat wave is pretty well done but it’s still warm outside.  It’s not like Summer up and left us but the oppressive heat & humidity have at least for a little while.  Hope it’s cooler in your neck of the woods.
