No Nap Slept Like Crap

Morning!  I made it through yesterday and never took any nap.  As I was getting ready for bed last night I figured that I would sleep good since I didn’t have a nap.  I actually slept like crap.  I woke up several times and went back to sleep.  Never got out of bed just rolled over.  Rudy did his part to wake me as well. 

We did have an enjoyable evening.  Got in some nice play time before bed.  Rudy sure loves to jump.  Mora not so much but she tries.  I opted to engage in play time before I did any of my normal tasks.  I figured that I could exhaust Rudy so he wouldn’t be bugging me and I could have a few moments of peace.  However, that failed.  When he’s wound up he never wants to calm down.  Kind of like a kid on a sugar high.  Ah to be young again and full of energy.  I know that he will calm down as the years grow on him but damn I’ve got my hands full with that little rascal.  They both love to run.  I’ve though of getting a cat wheel but not 100% they would actually use it.  I put each of them on the treadmill over the weekend and neither one of them liked it.  Rudy did actually walk a little bit where Mora just let it slide her off and on to the floor.  Rudy kept looking underneath it as if there was some mouse running on a wheel making the treadmill go or something.  I don’t quite know what he was looking for but he was sure interested. 

Grass mowers came yesterday as I expected.  Rain is back today.  Makes me glad that my car is in the garage because I just had it washed.  I only hope that it’s dry when I raise the door to take out the trash.  I’ve got to do that a bit later today. 

I remarked before I came down to start my day that last Thursday things were a whole lot different here.  I was able to be lazy and loaf because it was a holiday.  It would be neat if we could freeze time and just stay stuck in a holiday a bit longer or better yet the ability to have the power to send certain people on a holiday. 

Tomorrow will be a bit busy at work but hopefully that will make the day fly by.  Today thus far appears to be calm and I think that is the vibe for today but I’m not too comfy with that just yet because things can change as fast as the wind blows.  For now I am just enjoying the relaxation for what it’s worth.  Who knows maybe I’ll be able to work in a nap.
