Chill Vibe

Morning … Things weren’t horrible yesterday but I did get a little busy.  I also worked in a nap with the cats before all of that happened.  It was just good timing.

Enjoyed my left over KFC last night for supper.  Rudy tried to get some, I guess it just smelled that good.  It didn’t taste as good as when I first brought it home.  I plan to finish it off today, there isn’t a whole lot left. 

Had an okay evening watching multiple YouTube videos.  It was entertaining and helped pass the time away before it was time to head to bed. 

Slept okay but I woke up a few times.  Rudy tried again to get me up at 5a.  I think he needs to adjust his clock.  Funny thing is that I read yesterday that cats observe and learn your behavior.  That’s how it seems like they have a clock built in.  Mora’s clock is running a bit behind.  I was able to delay passing out treats for almost 15 minutes last night but then she started begging. 

I picked up some toys on a string and have kept that off the floor.  We play with it at night after I brush my teeth.  I try to even out the time between each cats.  Mora is way more aggressive than her brother, although if you wind him up good he can be aggressive too.  I got a butterfly that you wind up and it’s suppose to fly.  I didn’t quite grasp the concept in the store but once I got it home it turned out to be a dud.  It flies but for a quick second, not long enough to entertain a cat.  I dropped $9 on it and am on the fence about if I should return it or just throw it away.  

Just found out that I am all alone today.  Bossman is working but one colleague is on vacation.  The other one is out either due to some family or personal issue.  Just as well he’s the one that makes all the mistakes that I manage to uncover.  I’ve sent him a couple emails pointing out his fuck ups and telling him to fix them.  Bossman sent me a note a few moments ago he wants to talk.  I am expecting it to be about my pay raise, it’s just that time of year.  I don’t have high hopes for a huge raise but am expecting at least the normal 3%. 

Hoping that nothing wrecks the chill vibe that is going right now.  I would love to keep this going for as long as possible.  Hope that you have a super day.  Take care!
