Rudy started making biscuits just before 6a and I got up and started the day. It was cool and dark out but thankfully my house is well insulated and it held the heat. The AC is running less and less these days. I am not anxious to turn the heat on but I know that day will be forthcoming.
The vendor that I had to come in for today showed up at lunch time. He broke some things in the process but when he left everything was working fine. My boss called just after he left and pushed our afternoon meeting to tomorrow. Now my schedule is wide open and as long as things stay quiet I shouldn’t have any issue with leaving. Of course I’m guessing when I do all hell will break loose.
My mistake making co-worker is out today again “unexpectedly”. I’ve got no idea of what is going on with him. We used to be close and talk a hell of a lot more than we do today. It was as if I had a “friend” but he showed his true colors and that’s what changed everything. What a damn shame.
I had the Potato Bake side dish from Stouffer’s last night. I plan to polish off the rest of it tonight. I had some ranch and hot sauce with it, not a bad pairing. However, I went a little too heavy on the hot sauce but it sure was good.
Very much looking forward to getting home and seeing the cats. Rudy was coughing last night. I am sure it’s time to brush both of them again. I am not a huge fan of that task but I do love seeing when I hit the right spot the joy that it brings to both of them.
Not much else going on. Got a squirrel who keeps setting off motions alerts on my cameras. It’s transparent to whomever trips it and I set it up that way on purpose. I don’t want to alarm anyone and at the same time I like the element of surprise.
What a long afternoon this is going to be but I am sure I will survive. Anxious to get this day behind me. Getting home will help with that.
