Happy Friday! I started off strong but that wore off like a sugar high. Now I am feeling quite lazy and really not wanting to do much of anything. I re-arranged my schedule a bit to push a task off until Monday. I’ve got a task to complete in about an hour and then another hour lull before I have to attend a meeting.
Today is quite relaxed thus far as is typical for most Friday’s. Thinking about heading up to nap with the cats.
Had some strange dreams last night. Was glad to wake up and see the cats. Rudy making biscuits all chipper as per usual. Mora just loafing at the end of the bed, until I pet her then she comes to life.
Got to put the trash out today so I get woken up by the banging of the cans tomorrow morning. Not exactly how I want my Saturday to start.
Very much looking forward to having two days off, despite being on call and semi tethered to work, unless something comes up I am free. That is kind of difficult to be able to live on but there are many times when I just throw caution to the wind and go about my normal life as if I am not on-call.
I’ve seen a couple of old but good movies on YouTube. Big Business and Born Yesterday. Big Business was funny, Born Yesterday was just long and dramatical. Surprised that I hadn’t come across them both sooner. Always on the lookout for a good movie, it’s a great escape from daily life even if only temporary.
