Making Plans

Morning … Got my car service stuff nailed down late yesterday afternoon.  On to trying to get an eye doctor appointment for a yearly exam with a new doctor.  I hope that I like this one I hate bouncing from place to place.  I like consistency and to build a rapport. 

Speaking of which I know I want to hit up the buffet I normally go to on a Tuesday because it’s supposed to be Mexican food.  There is another place that I have had on my list for about a year and I plan to go there but the decision is for breakfast or for lunch/dinner.  I hear rave reviews about all of their food.  I’ve still got plenty of days open and available but I know that time goes by fast and days can fill up quickly. 

I don’t want to plan something for every day.  I also kind of wish I was checking into a hotel and staying somewhere.  It’s possible but the odds of me doing it are slim to none because I’ve not been away from these cats overnight ever. 

Speaking of which both of them have really bonded well with me.  Rudy just loves to be next to me or around me.  Mora has long been a Velcro cat.  I’m so thrilled that I have them and we found each other.  They got a good home and I got a couple of good cats.  Although they do have their moments when they wear thin on my nerves. 

I had those left over meatballs and garlic bread for supper last night.  Polished off the bread pudding.  It was not that good and I’m kind of sorry I ordered it.  All I’ve got left in the left overs is the Soul stuffed fish that I had on Saturday.  I plan to have that tonight.  I don’t think there will be enough to fill me up so I will probably have some serious desert.  Then Wednesday I am back to pulling items from the freezer. 

Still working on my Braunschweiger log that I got last week.  It’s some good stuff but I hate slicing it that never seems to turn out as good as I want it to and it’s messy.  However it was lunch yesterday and it will be lunch again today most likely. 

On the work front things were much like a yo-yo yesterday light for the most part but I did have sporadic moments of being busy.  I made several trips from my bed to the basement in trying to work in a morning nap.  The cats were less than pleased about that but I have to go when duty calls.  Eventually I gave up on the idea of trying to take a nap and just let them sleep. 

It was overcast yesterday with some periods of light rain.  Today is just overcast and no rain but rain is in the forecast for Wednesday & Thursday.
