Hey, hope all is well. I took Saturday as a rot day and just laid around and watched TV. Finished up All In The Family. What a series. Now I can say I’ve seen every episode. I am working now on Good Times and also re-watching The Neighborhood. In addition to mixing in some YouTube videos.
Sunday, was a fun but busy day. I got up at 6a and shaved & showered, which is not something I normally do on a Sunday. Went to my usual breakfast place but ordered something different. It was good. Saw some familiar faces and then shuffled on to the Grocery Store. Then came home and put it all away. Relaxed and napped a bit. Then on to setting my medicine out, cleaning the house, laundry and surfing the net.
I really want BBQ for supper tonight and I told myself that I would go out today for it as something different for a Monday night supper. I’ve got the freedom might as well use it. However, it’s raining to the point there are flood warnings out. I am certain the basement will get wet again. Rain is in the forecast for most of this week as well as most of next week. I wonder if it will ever be dry long enough for me to implement my fix.
I’m not allergic to rain but do not like to be out in it if I can help it. That’s when a lot of people loose their minds and forget how to drive. It can happen at any given time but odds are higher when it’s raining.
I should have taken today off. There is not much going on and I am having a boring kind of a day. Not that I am asking for trouble. I went downstairs this morning long enough to login and send an email. Then came back upstairs. Logged in on the laptop, used the bathroom and then back to my bedroom to watch TV.
I got a lousy nights sleep last night. Went to bed around normal time but only slept an hour before I woke up with a nightmare. I couldn’t go back to sleep but thankfully it was before midnight. I took an extra sleeping pill and an allergy pill. My nose was really bothering me. Got back to sleep. Both cats stayed put in bed as I sat up watching TV until I came back to bed. I woke up at 5a and both cats were gone. Used the bathroom and came back to bed. By 6a I had company – both cats back in bed. Rudy climbed on top of me and waited for me to roll over to declare I was awake.
Now both cats are sleeping, rain is falling. I am just waiting for the day to be done. Keeping an eye on the weather and thinking about what I want to fetch from the freezer for supper tonight.
Just an average Monday. The new guy is going on a Cruise and only has 3 days to work this week and will be out all next week. The mistake maker is out all next week, so I will be all alone. Perhaps it will curtail some of the needless meetings that we have but I am not holding my breath.
Here is hoping I don’t float away. Talk with you all again soon.
