Welcome … We had lots of snow falling at different times yesterday. It looked pretty but was melting on most surfaces but the grass. This morning kind of looks like Frosted Shredded Wheat outside. Driveways and sidewalks are clear and most but not all appear to be dry. The news says that streets are in great shape. Rudy woke me super early so that I could make it to the office if I wanted to but I didn’t want to. I just passed out food and had breakfast. Killed the extra time watching TV and holding Mora.
We have more weather on the way Friday night late into Saturday. Sounds like lots of cold rain which originally was predicted to be snow. I am not a fan of the rain but hopefully it won’t be horrible or last as long as is predicted.
I put on the last nag a cat show last night and finished off the Fried Chicken. Afterwards I did the math and I got 4 meals out of that bucket which cost $8.50 each. Not too shabby and it was really good. Safe to say that I am tired of Fried Chicken. I could eat more coleslaw though, that stuff is delicious.
Last night was kind of boring but I managed to find some TV to keep me entertained. My sleeping pills took a little longer to kick in last night and I managed to fit in a couple extra episodes of Night Court.
The front door camera kept going off with motion alerts. Wouldn’t you know it was a Skunk of all things. I think it has a home nearby. On camera it looks to have a lot of white but does have that distinct black stripe down it’s back. I just hope nothing angers it so it doesn’t spray. They hang around my house this time each year and by late Spring they are usually gone. I don’t know what the attraction is and I’ve not researched it but I will be doing some searching today. Something always manages to get them to spray and that is a smell that you just can’t not smell. I hope I don’t get to smell that this year but only time will tell. At least I’ve never been sprayed and neither have any of my cats.
I don’t really have anything on the books at work today so I am hopeful for a calm and relaxing day. Things were so quiet yesterday until I got upstairs and comfy in my chair. Then I was pestered silly. Perhaps I will get different results today at least that is what I am aiming for. Tomorrow looks to be much of the same as today but I do have a couple things to take care of. I savor the down time because I know next week will be way different.
