Nothing really major to report, other than it’s Monday again. I had some off site support to perform tomorrow night, but thankfully it’s been cancelled. Later this month I will have to go off site for an event. I am not a big fan of that part of my job but it comes with the territory. It’s easy work, as long as you know what your doing. It’s all audio/visual setting up projectors, presentations and microphones. Things I used to have to do in a prior job on a bi-weekly basis. Making sure everything works is as about as difficult as it gets. Typically everything flows smoothly, except for that one time when you don’t test or run out of time for testing.
TAZ has been following me all over the house like a lost puppy. He even tried to talk to me this morning. I saw his mouth open but didn’t hear anything come out. He is very soft spoken, but he can make himself heard if necessary. I remember the days when he was calling for a mate. Man that was like the most beautiful sound ever, his voice was awesome. Today he is more about a can of food, some water and a good nap. He had some of my Ben & Jerrys last night. That kind of made him stick around for a bit longer. I love him so much and pray he doesn’t konk out on me. I don’t want to lose any of them ever but I’ve gone through enough loss for now.
I am looking forward to going home, seeing the children and eating supper. I hope for a nice quiet uneventful evening. Plus it will be the first night of driving in the dark, which I am sure will not be fun but I know I can do it. My lunch time is rarley my own always setting up for some meeting in the middle of it, or having people walk up and ask for help. I took it for a while, now I charge for it, meaning that I alter my time card accordingly. I mean that is why I work so I can make money.
Well it’s about time that lunch is over and that means time to setup for yet another meeting. It’s just a crazy circle but it makes the day go by and well I am all for that. So without further delay I am returning to work. I hope your Monday was enjoyable and uneventful. 4 more days until the weekend! Talk with you peeps later.
