German Chocolate

One of my co-workers has a tradition that he sends everyone a German Chocolate Bar, I got mine today and it’s pretty good.  It’s got Hazel nuts in it they could have stayed in Germany.  It’s a nice rainy day here, sort of like German weather.  Kind of chilly but not to the point where you have to wear a jacket, but most people are just because.  Last night I came home to a surprise left for me by Big Boy, thankfully I saw it before I almost stepped in it  I took care of the clean up and taking out the trash.  Then I thought I spotted something on the front porch.  Yep, it’s a small package.  UPS usually sends me notifications when I am going to get something but this one slipped by them.  It was my hat that I ordered from the DEA.  I got it because it’s a one size fits all and it’s got spandex in it so it’s comfy.  I will be sporting it this weekend.  I did wear it around the house and it felt pretty good.

For supper I had a Bertolli Torta.  It’s basically a pot pie filled with cheese and sausage.  It was very good but also very small.  Two or three of them would be a meal for me.  I will be stocking up on them come Sunday.  I have not seem them before and suspect they are new.  Mighty fine. 

I felt kind of crummy last night, my sinuses were on overdrive.  I wasn’t sure if it was something brewing or if it was allergies.  I popped a couple pills one of which was a Benadryl on top of my regular sleeping medicine.  It solved the problem and I slept like a log.  I remember dreaming I was at the doctor and he was going to have to check my prostate and then I woke up.  Oh thank goodness.  Big Boy had me up in the middle of the night but he was just being obstinate.  I woke up feeling much better which was quite the surprise to me and I had all of this energy.  Then I got out of the house and got in traffic and holy cow it was madding to try to stay awake.  The rain and traffic didn’t help at all.  Once I got to work and had to walk in and get the blood flowing that helped a whole bunch.  Then I just sprang into my day.  Although I will tell you a nap does sound pretty good right about now.

Last night we got a scathing e-mail from the boss about people not updating the schedule when they take time off.  She said she wasn’t approving anymore time off until people got their act together.  I wasn’t one of the offenders but I did submit a request today for 2 days off.  1 being the day after Christmas and the 2nd being the day off after New Years.  She just approved the Christmas one.  Waiting to hear about New Years.  They will both be here before you know it.  But first comes Thanksgiving and I am psyched for it. 

Remember the book I was thinking about writing?  Well I have it in the cloud and am fine tuning it, publishing it for the world well I am still giving it some thought.  Not so much as a revenue generator, because well I have no idea what price to place on my story.  More so to show that love is love and if your committed to each other you can make it against the odds. 

Today is voting day here in the US.  I am so thankful that this day is here because I am tired of robo calls and other political solicitations.  They all will stop and we can talk about the results probably as early as tomorrow.  Wonderful, I think everyone will be happy about the calls.  Probably not about who is elected but if you didn’t vote then you can’t complain. 

So a full hour for lunch today, what will I do with all of this time?  Actually I only have like 15 minutes left.  Looking forward to getting home tonight.  Getting the mail and hopefully there will be money in it.  Getting my 2 UPS’ unboxed, hooked up and installed and finally having some soup and quality time with the children.  Daniel Tosh is on tonight so that will be a good thing, I love him.

Oh I saw Sex Tape over the weekend and paid 4.99 for it.  Don’t waste your money it’s not that funny and I found myself playing with my phone instead of paying attention.  I wish that Amazon and other pay per view sources had a return button for when you didn’t like the movie, you could stop hit the button and get a refund instead of enduring the torture of sitting there watching something that you don’t like.  Maybe someday but that day isn’t today.  Shucks!

Well I am going to get back to it, have to deal with that same ass woman from last week who didn’t want a new monitor.  I so don’t look forward to that.  I would rather do most anything than talk with her or help her with a computer problems.  Fix one thing and then she will bitch about something else.  I hope you have a great rest of the day and I will talk with you peeps again soon.
