Early Morning Phone Call

Normally late night and early morning phone calls are not good news.  However, I got a call this morning from my partner that was good news.  He is getting out of the hospital today.  They were going to bring him breakfast and then he could get in his truck and rive home.  I haven’t heard from him in a couple hours but presume everything is on track.

I thought for sure he would make his foot doctor appointment but told me to cancel it.  So I did.  Were finally going to have Sloppy Joe’s been planning on that for a while now but something always seemed to get in the way.  The hamburger that we had planned on using is bad, but thankfully we have frozen so I got it out to thaw. 

I fed the children this morning and told them that daddy would be home today.  He would feed them lunch.  They looked at me kind of funny as I cleaned up from breakfast, which is not something I normally do.  Kind of wanted to have the place a little clean when he comes home as a welcome home present.

I have caught up on most everything here at work.  Took me about an hour and a half and poof it’s all done.  Right now I am waiting on a couple folks to get back to me.  I am also looking for some packages that haven’t made there way to my office as of yet.  So I will have to go snooping to see if they were delivered.

Boss man I think will be out for the rest of the week, not too shabby. So it is relaxed here.  I turned in my time off form for taking yesterday off and got it back.  I was told don’t worry about it.  Nice!  No wonder people have vacation to burn if they give you sick time.  I don’t look for this treatment all the time but it sure is nice.  I could have stayed home today.  Who knew they would be so nice?  My partner wouldn’t have liked it but I could use the cuddle and sleep time.  Last night as rough.

You ever have one of those nights where your mind is racing and you can’t shut it off.  Well that’s what I was going through last night when I tried to fall asleep.  Hopefully, tonight it will be lights out and straight to dream land.  I can’t tell you when the last time was that I had a great nights sleep.

As for me well I am toughing out the sick part, I doubled up on medicine last night, this morning and again tonight.  Then I am going back to normal dosage.  Hopefully, I can kill whatever infection is in me so that I will feel normal again, I am looking forward to that.  Sleep would also help but there is no rest for me.

I have a relaxing evening planned to veg in front of the TV and be with the kids.  We shall see if that comes to pass.  We actually had some time together last night from 9 until 11.  Kind of nice.  I stayed up way too late.  10 should have been my cut off time but I can’t seem to shutdown.

Watched Tosh.O last night.  That was a great show.  I love Daniel Tosh he’s so witty and got a great sense of humor.  I don’t find everything he says funny but I do like most things.  Plus he is so sexy!  I wish he would lay his sexuality out on the line.  One minute I think he is gay and the next minute he is talking about girls and then I think he’s straight.  Just would be nice to know which team he is playing for.

Speaking of teams, NPH that’s Neil Patrick Harris is writing a book about his coming out and sexuality.  It is scheduled to be out in 2014 and I so look forward to reading it.  I’m sure it will take a lot of time to write and there will be difficult things to say but I applaud him for putting it out there.  No secret I have a huge crush on him!

Now that I have exhausted myself I am so ready for a nap.  Too bad there is no napping at the office.  I could always go to my car and curl up though.  Temptation never sounded so good.

Well off to see if I can’t fix my Google Calendar.  I’ve been at this for a couple days now and it doesn’t appear I am making much progress.  Take care and I will talk with you peeps later!
