Clawed

Morning …

Happy Friday Eve!  One more damn day to go.

Yesterday when I sat down to eat lunch, which was a sliced chicken breast sandwich, apparently Rudy was hungry.  He begged me and I ignored him.  Next things I knew he got his claws out and climbed up my side and back.  I was not happy and got him to release and drop back to the ground.  Thinking about it makes me want to smack the shit out of him but much to my surprise I was forceful but calm. 

Last week one day I had some Cheese popcorn for lunch.  Rudy had curled up next to me on the couch.  I let him sniff my finger when I was done.  He turned into a slobber factory and licked the cheese remnants from my fingers.  Mora saw what he was doing and she wanted in on the action.  She got a couple licks but Rudy got the bulk of it. 

I don’t share my food directly with them and for good reason.  It’s my food.  I honestly think for as many times as they have both begged me, they have been given table scraps by a previous owner and that started the bad habit.  If that’s not the case then their noses work super well and they pay closer attention to my actions than I think they do. 

Had an okay evening catching up on network TV that was on my DVR.  It was fun and really did pass the time.  I eventually had to wrap things up as it was time to shave. 

I worked over my face with a razor and got all of that hair off of my face.  Then followed up with a nice long shower.  I took my sweet time and it was an enjoyable experience. 

Time for bed after that and I slept good but not perfect, but wasn’t awake for hours on end. 

I’ve been summoned to a meeting this morning with a vendor that is having issues.  It’s a Teams call which I hate.  I have to go upstairs and get logged on from my laptop, otherwise I won’t have audio and I’m fairly certain my boss will ask me a question or need to input from me.  He’s been in hyper mode all damn week long and I can’t wait to get the fuck away from him.  However, today and tomorrow then I’m done for a few weeks.
