Hello again! I hope that things are well and that your Thursday is moving right along. Not sure what happened this morning with the internet. Both at home and work there were issues. My home connection was restored quickly and then I got alerts from work that there was problems, meanwhile at home my connectivity was up and down like… well rather than be dirty, you get the idea. I think things have leveled off as everything seems stable at the moment, I just hope it stays that way. My home internet connection hasn’t been the best and this just as my special pricing expired. I get to make that call and threaten to cancel to get another special price, I wish they would just lower the price so I didn’t have to make those calls but I get it, some people won’t and that is where they make their real money. They are making money from me just not as much as they want.
The market for home internet has opened up with the advancement of 5G and most cellular carriers are competition to the cable company or local ISP. I like what I have I just want it to work full time reliably and pay a fair price without being raked over the coals and paying through the nose. Life isn’t fair and this is just another example of that.
I had an okay evening once I was able to break away from work which was closer to 5p than I wanted it to be. Today unless something goes awry it should be smooth sailing. I have been productive and am ready to take a break, a very long break at that. Got to remember to get the trash out this afternoon and put some pants on before I dash out the door but otherwise I don’t plan on doing much.
Mora got sick again last night after treat time. I brushed her again and eventually she went back to grab a bite to eat before bed. As we got closer to bed time both her and her brother Rudy got their second winds and were racing all through this place. They wanted cat nip but I didn’t give in. That is a once and while thing. However, they know when I crack the jar they come running and chattering, both of them trying to get the first bit from me. It’s a bit fun to see them light up but I don’t like the competition between them.
Had some strange dreams and between the biscuit maker and my bladder I kept getting woken up. Rudy is always ready to get up after midnight. It’s like he just longs for the food but there is dry food out all the time, I know it’s not as good as the wet but it’s still there and if I were a cat I would eat it to tide myself over. This week has gone by way faster than I wanted it to but Monday thru Wednesday were much busier than I had ever anticipated. I earned my money on those days. Speaking of which I got my new pay check with the cheap ass raise on it. I got a couple of extra dollars, whoopie. I am still underpaid from my POV and I should have been given more than what I got. This is the first year that I have been truly disappointed. Well off to break to see what I can see and maybe get in a nap but for sure some cuddle time with the cats. That’s the best part of going back upstairs. Have a good day and I will talk with you all again soon.
