It felt like a frying pan in my house last night. It was 80 degrees. I had the windows open at supper time, that pleased the cats and I enjoyed the breeze when it was flowing. It is supposed to be just as nice today and I hope that it doesn’t get quite as hot in here. I thought about turning on the AC but didn’t.
I had Penne Abarata for supper along with part of a slice of yellow cake with chocolate frosting. That would have normally been it for supper but since I was so hot as the evening went on I broke into some Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream. That was pretty good.
I was watching the F1 racing series on Netflix. There are some young and hansom guys in that show. One of which is Liam Lawson. He’s a young blond guy who I think it pretty hot, despite the fact he is straight. Not exactly sure how one breaks into racing but it seems to be quite lucrative as well as dangerous. There are a lot of travel perks and you get all kinds of swag. However, I think your body is put through quite the ringer when your in the car and there is no air conditioning. While I’d like to try it I don’t think I would make it terribly long in a car and there is no way my body would be able to keep up long term. I love my air conditioning and heat is for sure my enemy. If you like younger guys and racing cars then this is the series for you. Pure adrenaline and you get to see lots of good stuff from guys, cars to places around the world. I’ve still got one or two episodes left from the latest season.
Work yesterday was busy but fairly easy. Had to deal with my bosses boss a couple times, God I hate that man with a passion. He grates on my nerves way more than my actual boss. Worked with another manager to help out with a project that he’s working on and we have more work to do today. My usual daily work was a little busy as well, there was a slight uptick late in the afternoon.
Got in my cuddle time with the cats. They got their treats. I was in no mood to play once I got ready for bed. It was just too hot. Rudy worked out his aggressions on his own and he was making some noise. Eventually he came to settle down in bed and that’s about the time that I climbed in bed. Both cats took off once I flipped the lights out and said good night. Rudy greeted me with his usual morning hello by making biscuits and putting on his salesman’s smile.
Here’s hoping for a cool day all around in both work and the weather. I am not ready to have my house turned into a pressure cooker, it’s far too early in the season but that’s kind of how things go. You get a small taste of Spring and then are thrusted into Summer.
Thanks for stopping by, talk with you all again soon!
