Back to the Yuck

It did warm up a little bit in the afternoon here but it was still coat weather and I stuck by my plans to stay home and have a frozen pizza.

I thought it was rather odd that the directions said not to pre-heat the oven.  I don’t ever recall seeing that on a pizza package before.  This was a rising crust pizza, not that it rose all that much.  At any rate I did pre-heat the oven.  I use a pizza stone and wanted to get it hot before placing the pizza on it.  If you do frozen pizza or even take & bake pizzas often then a pizza stone is a total game changer.

Pizza came out hot and I didn’t quite like the taste at first but it grew on me.  I enjoyed it as I watched the new Mark Miller You Tube video.  I have plenty left over for lunch or possibly even supper tonight.  Later in the evening I had Milk & Oreos.

Continued watching the Formula 1 Drive to Survive series on Netflix.  It’s neat but strange to watch it backwards.  I looked at the 2025 Formula 1 schedule and damn they start in March and go thru December that’s a hell of a long series.  Neat travel destinations they are all over the world but no where remotely close to me.  If I could sit in the shade I would love to watch one race live.

Cats were kind of lazy yesterday I suppose it was the cold.  They just lounged, sun bathed and slept.  Even when I went to take my shower and was done, I had no one waiting to come in and drink water from the tub and I sat in my room watching TV for the longest time before Mora came in.

I woke up early to use the bathroom and I felt the cold was so happy to get back under the covers.  Rudy came to join me and camped out on top of me.  I had to roll over and he snuggled up next to me but he went into bath mode and wouldn’t sit still so it was a little difficult to get back to sleep.  About the time he settled down it was time to get up.  He was so happy about that he jumped back up on top of me and started another batch of biscuits.  I managed to talk him off of me so I could get up and get moving.

Rudy was more than a little hungry this morning he practically ate the entire small can.  He sent a couple false signals to his sister that it was okay for her to come eat and then he would swoop in and just go back at it.  I tell him every morning if not once several times to save some for his sister.  He did and eventually she came in and had her breakfast.

I just typed that nothing was popping at work and then bang something popped.  It was quick and easy to deal with, which is what I like.  I hate complicated messes or tasks that linger on and on.  Speaking of which this is the week that the mistake maker should be starting his leave meaning that I am on my own for certain tasks and that’s okay so long as there is a backup.  At least I know that if I do something it’s done right the first time and there is no mopping up to do, that’s the upside.

I put the car back on the battery charger yesterday and it errored out, first time that has happened.  I am going to give it another go either today or tomorrow and see what happens.  If something like that is going to happen I’d rather be stranded at home than anywhere else.

Here’s hoping it is a great week for all of us.  Take care and be well.
