Hello & Welcome … I did make it to Olive Garden and I got the food I wanted. However, it wasn’t nearly as good as it should have been. It’s the way it was prepared, which was Olive Garden’s take on it and not the authentic way the dish is normally made. I also only spotted one cute guy and that was when I was leaving and walking to my car. He was ahead of me and I got a nice show for 40 or so seconds.
I did spend some time with the cats and they got their treats, but it was delayed because I was caught up in the computer. I didn’t brush them or trim their claws.
I was never so happy when I broke out a new razor and got to remove all of the fur from my face. It was starting to itch and I was ready to claw my face off. It took a bit to shave but it was so worth the time. I have thought about keeping it before but there is too much white and I never seem to make it past the itchy stage. I don’t know how guys who have beards manage it seems awful to me but then again to each their own. I’m a clean shaven guy and have always been. I don’t mind a little stubble but after a week it’s all got to go.
I watched some porn before bed and after that was done it wasn’t long after I was out like a light. Kind of felt like a kid again, well almost.
I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and Rudy thought it was time to get up for breakfast. I assured him that I knew how to tell time better than him and crawled back into bed. He joined me. Everything seemed quite normal to me, other than I had a slight cough and my nose was a little stuffy.
A few hours later when I woke up I had the same slight cough and stuffy nose. However, my left wrist hurt like hell. That’s when I looked and saw that my cyst had flared up. Thankfully this is NOT my dominant hand. No doubt this was due to the snow shoveling that I did. It’s a double whammy because it’s a varicose vein and has a cyst underneath it. Normally if I just lift my hand in the air it decreases. This however was hard and firm. Shame I can’t have some fun and make it go away. However, I moved on to getting breakfast out.
As the day is moving on and now it’s afternoon it’s decreasing a little bit. I found an urgent care near by that is connected to my doctors office network so if push comes to shove I can go there. I would love to drain it and I’ve got syringes and sterile needles left over from cats so be able to poke it and try to drain it. However, since I don’t know what I am doing I am sure I would inflict a lot of pain and probably wind up making things worse.
I know for medical advice the internet is really not your friend but I turned there and it talks about wearing a brace to limit movement of your wrist. As well as warm compresses if that fails then it’s either having it drained or cut out. I think I could get a doctor to drain it but if it had to be removed I would need a hand surgeon for sure.
Normally it’s just a slight lump that doesn’t bother me. The last time it flared up I was a kid. I remember hitting it with a phone book, you know the thick yellow pages. I put it in a vice and tried to crush it that hurt like hell. Went to the doctor then and he said it was a cyst but he didn’t do anything. I’m surprised I didn’t get penicillin for it. He just loved to inject that stuff like it was candy.
I plan to have some Chinese food for supper which I know will get the cats begging me for food. Watching some TV and trying some warm compresses on my wrist to see if that helps.
