Morning … Hope that all is well. I made it to the office. The cats were a little confused with me leaving so early. I checked on them already and they are camped out on my bed, as per usual. I look forward to seeing them when I come home this afternoon.
The BBQ Turkey dinner was pretty good. I managed to forego my evening snack of peaches and just passed out cat treats. Went to bed early so that I could get up this morning.
Nothing is really new in the office, same stuff just a different day. I had the thought as I shuffled in why in the world am I doing this when I could just stay home. I like part of the idea of coming in but going through the motions as early as I need to sucks. I am feeling worn down this morning.
It was warm this morning and were supposed to be cooling off as the day moves forward but it’s only going to be in the 50’s. It’s comfortable but it’s humid inside the office.
Made it through the morning meeting. Just need to make it through the afternoon meeting and then I will be on track to head home. The boss keeps reminding us that he will be out next week and I am tickled pink about that. It means not only will we not have to hear his voice, see emails from him but most of all we won’t have any meetings. That might make for a long week but damn it will be kind of like were all on vacation a bit. Shame he’s not taking two weeks.
Apparently there is a social media outage from what I see from a pop up on my phone.
