Monday

It’s that time again.  The only two good things about today is that there isn’t much going on and that I am no longer on-call.  I took care of my morning tasks quickly.  Then headed up to use the restroom and never bothered to come back down.  The only reason why I am back now is that I had two back to back meetings.  However, one of them got cancelled because we had a major issue crop up.  The other meeting just got rescheduled for a different day, nothing like kick the can.

I had an okay weekend.  Had Olive Garden yesterday for supper, it was good but the wait was horrible.  I could have gone to the new one that just opened in my back yard but instead went to the one I always go to because I figured there wouldn’t be much of a crowd but with the travel time that changed things.  I got to see a cute host and a nice set of buns which was nice.  Had okay service and the food was decent.  Earlier in the day I had breakfast out and hit up the grocery store.

Had breakfast out, grabbed the mail, and got my haircut on Saturday.  I was home after that and had no real desire to go back out.  Ate junk food for supper, which left me starved when I woke up on Sunday so breakfast was extra good.

I am craving eating out now.  Matters not if it’s fast food or sitting down in a restaurant.  Taco Bell and Steak n Shake both sound really appealing.  However, I am having a BBQ Turkey Dinner from the grocery store for supper tonight.

Tomorrow is my next turn to stumble into the office.  It’s not that I really want to but need to keep up appearances.  I’ve put off some work today so that I will have a little something to do tomorrow.  Not looking forward to getting up early or going in but it is what it is.

Wacky weather here one day it’s cold the next warm.  I see plants and trees blossoming, I am sure they are just as confused as we are.  However, things will even out.  We will get a couple weeks of spring and then on to Hell’s front porch, at least that is the way it has played out in years past.

Here’s hoping all is well in your neck of the woods and life is treating you well.  Take care!
