Turns out I actually have the DC14 Animal and there is a replacement part. However, it’s around $160 and I paid less than that for a new (different brand) vacuum, 2 Filters and 2 Belts.
I’m now throwing my Dyson away and maybe someday I’ll spend the $ to get the replacement part. Right now I need a vacuum by next weekend so that I can clean.
Just wanted to set the record straight.
