Sunday

Hi and welcome in.  Woke up this morning a couple times and went back to sleep.  Rudy wanted to get up at 7 but I wanted to wait until 730a before I decided to get out of bed.  I won and he was so happy when I finally told him that it was time to get up.  I got my usual biscuits and smile.  After I put breakfast out for the cats I got dressed and ready to get going. 

Had Strawberry French Toast and Scrambled Eggs this morning.  The college student that I had seen over the winter started showing up again last week.  I got to see him this morning, we exchanged a hello.  I was watching him bus tables and looking at his nice caboose.  I kind of wanted to make a move but that little voice in my head said not to.  I listened to the voice. 

Hit up the grocery store and of course hours after I got home I realized oh yeah I forgot something.  It’s not a big deal but I did wiz through there pretty fast.  Felt like 5 minutes tops but I am sure it was a bit longer.  I wanted Cheesecake and got it.  That’s going to be different and also really good. 

Kept thinking about where to go for supper and opted to take a trip to the pizza place where there is a hot straight waiter that I made a pass at.  He didn’t get it but I think after the fact things came together.  Well anyway I went there and he was working.  I got to look at his caboose as well.  He’s always great to look at.  We exchanged pleasantries but that was after I had been there for a while.  Normally he wouldn’t talk to me unless he was waiting on me.  That’s why I think he figured out that I made a pass.  Pizza was just okay.  I enjoyed the drive up and back it was nice.  AC is working great and felt so good.  It was 80 out or so the car said. 

Made it home and the cats are with me in the basement.  Kind of a hum drum day and I really wasn’t in the mood to do a whole lot.  Kind of loafed for most of the day and that is how I plan to spend the evening. 

It was nice seeing those hot guys today.  I am not eager to start this upcoming week only because I am on-call.  Hopefully it’s not too eventful and the week goes by quickly.  It’s the last full week I work before vacation.  Only 3 days next week and then I am done for the month.  Coming back I will be back on-call again which sucks plus I will be playing catchup but I plan to enjoy my time off.  Lord knows I do need the break. 

My morning started off with a funny wrong number text message.  Apparently someone got left at a biker bar early this morning.  I kind of felt like texting back, you deserved it and you texted the wrong number.  However, I know all too well that things that seem innocent enough like this often lead to scams/schemes so instead I just deleted the message. 

Still loving my new iPhone and still playing with it exploring.  Haven’t watched any tutorials but it does what I want it to.  I checked on the value of my old phone and right now it’s worth about $80.   Hope it’s a great week ahead for all of us and that life slows down just a little bit.
