Hi folks and welcome! Made it to Tuesday and had an okay Monday evening. Left over pizza for supper and a bit later some cheese cake. Watched Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and then mostly watched episodes of the old Alice show. I did stop and switch up to watch a few other YouTube videos just for variety. Cleaned screens of my iPad and Laptop. Passed out treats for the cats and of course got ready for today. Also got in my shower, which didn’t make the cats happy because they knew that meant no playtime.
My new water bottle from Amazon is a whopping 64 ounces. I kind of messed up by ordering such a large size but it’s nice to know that no matter how thirsty I am there is no way I can finish the entire bottle in a day. I did try yesterday and drank all but 24 ounces. The cats had to rub up against it to initiate it and mark it. They both love doing that and I would rather they not.
Speaking of water, last week I tried the Cherry Obituary flavor of Liquid Death which is a sparking water. I thought I’d like it but I hate sparking water. The flavor sounded like it might make it taste more like cherry than bubbly water. I don’t get the obsession with sparkling water it just doesn’t taste good to me and never has. I don’t understand why people like it but then again I don’t get why people like beer. The first drink is great after that it tastes horrible to me. However, I can drink soda with no problem. I know that’s essentially sparkling water with a hell of a lot more added to it than a flavored sparking water. If it’s water I am drinking tap or bottled is fine just no sparkling. At least I got it out of my system and am no longer curious about how Liquid Death tastes and if I’d like it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Had some strange dream last night. Also when I woke up this morning my white noise machine was off but I remember turning it on last night before bed. Somehow my Echo was playing white noise and I don’t remember turning it on. I know I can go through voice history and probably find a sleepy recording of me telling it to turn on because that’s not something that just happens at random.
As a follow-up to my cell hell story from a couple weeks ago. Apparently when you change from post-paid to pre-paid they scrub your name from caller id so when you call people you show up as “Wireless Caller”. I can think of times when seeing that would be both good and bad. I called yesterday for the 2nd time to get this changed and I was assured it was taken care of. I locked my account and then tested things. It wasn’t fixed and I thought perhaps it takes time. I tested later in the day but still no luck. I’ve tested again this morning and you guessed it no luck. I have to wait until tomorrow to be able to remove the lock from my account and call back. However, I am hoping that it just takes 48 hours for the record to update. I do remember on post-paid you could type in what you wanted it to display and it would update automatically. I hate calling customer service, going through the round-robin of the automated phone system that tries to help you so you don’t have to talk with a live person but in my case I really need that live person and I need them to be fully educated on how to do their job right, preferably on the first call so that I don’t have to waste time calling back. Then again were talking about AT&T so it’s not that much of a surprise. I hope that I can get this resolved and that it doesn’t occupy that much of my time. I’d call back now but since my account is locked for security no one can do a damn thing until that lock is removed. Post-paid you could toggle that on and off at will but Pre-paid you have to wait 48 hours after you turn it on before it can be turned off again. Seems to me that AT&T treats pre-paid customers lesser than a post-paid customer, at least that is my experience thus far.
Well on the work front Monday was calm but now that today is Tuesday anything is possible it could be rocky or calm just kind of depends. It’s still early and people are waking up. I hope for a calm day. I’ve got my usual 2 meetings today. Were supposed to have more rain today but thus far it’s dry. Perhaps the rain will skip us, that would be nice.
