Upgrade

Today was the day for IOS 13’s release.  I upgraded my iPhone and everything looked pretty good.  That is until I went to try to get email and it was frozen.  I rebooted that didn’t help.  I looked on-line and they said remove your email accounts, reboot and then add the accounts back.  I started to try that when things just started locking up.  I opted to wipe the phone and restore from a backup.  It was a bold move but one I figured would yield the best results.  Sure enough that did the trick.  Hopefully not everyone will have this same experience but if you hear of someone in need, feel free to share what worked for me.  I had to re-login to all of my apps and setup finger print security, I didn’t save my Snap Chat login information so that account is gone because I have no idea what email account it was linked to.  Besides that I didn’t really SC with anyone and I don’t think I’ll miss it. 

I have an iPhone 7 and still really want an upgrade but I am thankful that I didn’t give in to my impulses given the moldy expense that is around the corner.  An upgrade isn’t that expensive but right now I think it’s smart to hang on to as much money as I can since the future looks a little rocky. 

I’m a little disappointed in myself in that when I woke up this morning I opted to stay home another day.  Going back to bed was great but the rest of the day sucked.  I had myself convinced to go out but I figured probably just as well stay home.  I have to go back or at the minimum work from home tomorrow because if your out for 3 days you have to have a doctors note to return.  I just don’t care about work at least not now.  I’ve peeked at my email and there are somethings waiting for me but nothing horrible thus far.  I expect Friday will breeze on by and I’ll be home before I know it.  I was really looking forward at getting back today not sure where things went wrong.  I did wake up early and toss for a little bit but it was an hour before I was supposed to get up. 

Right now I look forward to getting on with tomorrow once I have that under my belt I’ll feel better and so there is a 2 days pause for the weekend I’ll be back on Monday. 

Nothing on TV tonight that interests me so finding something will be quite the challenge but I am sure I will stumble on something.  I will be goofing off on the computer for a bit before I make the trek back upstairs.  I did manage to get the trash set out so that will be hauled away in the morning.  Damn insomnia I wish I never had another sleepless night ever but that’s like asking to win the lottery. 

Hope you had a great day.  It was warm here and gave the wood in the basement more drying time.  I can’t wait until the day I don’t have to watch it any longer.  Still got my fingers crossed that there isn’t a major issue lying in wait.  Well off to cyber land.  Talk with you all again soon.
