Sunday

Eh here we go again Monday morning, ugh!

Sunday was an okay day.  I managed to injure myself doing of all things pumping gas.  I held the pump with my left hand instead of putting it on automatic.  I heard that if you control the flow of the pump, by only letting it flow 1/2 way you get more gas and less air.  Makes sense to me.  However, that aggravated my cist and it flared up when I was done.  I figured it would go away but nope, stuck with me all day and only got worse as the day went on.  Jeez this getting old isn’t any fun.  At least my membership card worked at Sam’s when I stopped, had to swipe it twice but it worked. 

The grass crew showed up yesterday afternoon much to my surprise.  It’s raining out now so that makes sense as to why they came yesterday.  Plus we have a heat wave moving in and I’m sure that’s no fun for anyone outdoors. 

Had my Mexican food for supper, it was good.  I got consumed in holding a text conversation with a friend and that kind of made eating take much, much longer than I wanted it to.  As a result I felt much fuller when I left. 

Spent time with the cats, got the house cleaned as well as their water fountain.  It was nice not to have to do any laundry on Sunday since it was all done the day before. 

Had more insomnia battles last night as well as a bad dream to top it all off.  Wish that I could just get a good nights rest with no interruptions as well as no bad dreams.  There is a lot on my mind so I totally understand why this is happening, I just don’t know what is causing the insomnia to flare up.  I know that it doesn’t help when I take a nap.  Need to pull an all day awake with no nap and that might help clear things up.  However, napping is so much fun and enjoyable, especially on the weekend when I can turn my phone off and not have to worry about being disturbed. 

Bossman just approved the two days I was sick a few weeks ago but has yet to approve my time off later this month.  I’ve made plans and will not be at work that week, so approved or not I will be out that week.  He’s never denied me time off before and I don’t expect that to start now, especially since we have a new person.  It’s not like there is coverage issue. 

All caught up on work at the moment but I’m waiting for a couple things to come rolling in and then I will be back at it.  That will probably be a few hours.  Not that I am in any rush to head back to work.  Lucked out of a meeting that was scheduled.  So I get a Monday with hopefully Peace & Quiet.  Tomorrow the meetings start up again as we go sailing into the week ahead.
