Morning!
Were one month away from the cats birthday, they will be 7. They were 3 just about to 4 years old when they moved in here. Time flies by so damn fast. No doubt that Mora has gotten a little bigger since she moved in. Rudy has pretty well stayed the same size but his personality has really blossomed. I’m over the moon about them and so glad that I made the decision to adopt them. I remember how on the fence I was but that move changed my life and it was for the better. Plus I changed their lives too.
Speaking of the furry duo, I finally got to brush them. Last night the fur really came off Rudy. He enjoyed it and when we were done he curled up on my lap for the longest time. He wound up falling asleep, which is normal. Mora came over a couple hours later and I got to brush her as well. No surprise with the amount of fur I got off of her. I’d rather brush than clean up a mess, plus I think they both like the brushing more than puking.
Work wasn’t horrible yesterday but some of those meetings ran a bit longer than they were scheduled for. I was late to get lunch passed out but we all survived. Found out that pay raise information should be public next week, which is awesome. I don’t expect more than 3 to 4 percent of a raise, if I get more it will truly shock me. As for the Team Lead position, nothing more has come of it for now. I’m guessing HR is coaching and working with him on developing a job description for that position that will outline the expectations, once that is finalized I will probably hear more. Unless he’s totally dropped the ball. Only time will tell and hey I’m comfortable right now where I am at, so even if nothing comes of this for now I am fine. I just keep on keeping on.
It’s take out the trash day, here’s hoping that the wasp leaves me alone and doesn’t have any company. I’m not fond of the task of putting the trash out or taking the barrel back in. This will be the 3rd week that my neighbors trash has sat open on the side of their house. I’m really surprised no one has complained. They should hopefully be coming back to mow the yard again I don’t know why they don’t just set the trash out. I’ve thought about it but the only thing stopping me is if the shoe was on the other foot would they do it for me? The answer to that question is no, at least in my mind. They would probably call and complain to someone. Which is why I take no action and just keep to myself. Besides that I can’t get in trouble for minding my own business.
Hoping it’s a great day for all of us. Take care and thanks for stopping by!
