Good Afternoon, I hope that all is well. I waited patiently and finally had my review. Overall it was a good review and my final score overall was higher than last year. That is exactly what I was hoping for. It should mean that my raise is a bit larger but I won’t know anything about that for a bit.
Had an okay evening watching TV and being with the cats. Rudy has really stuck with this new habit of his that is when I am winding down for the day he wants to play. It’s the only time he bugs me to play with him. We usually have some time in the morning and what we do largely depends on both their attitudes as well as mine. Some mornings are silly with play and other mornings I can work in petting and that’s it.
I made the mistake of opening the new cat nip and transferring it to the container that we normally use. Man Rudy smelled that in the air and he was at my feet begging. I told him no but that didn’t phase him he just rallied his sister and they both started begging. I gave in but they didn’t get any before bed.
I’ve been obsessed with watching funny cat videos on YouTube shorts. I figured it would get a rise out of both of my cats but they ignore it for the most part.
Got to wrangle the trash and set out the barrel on the curb, not looking forward to that. At least it’s a nice warm sunny day. I see people out and about walking, riding bikes and kids playing. Kind of what summer is all about, even though we haven’t officially crossed over, it’s summer in my mind. The really super hot days are just around the corner and that’s when the power company loves me because the AC is really humming along then.
My Saturday morning will start off early since I booked an early morning haircut. I thought it would be a good idea but I am kind of regretting it now because I really want to be lazy. However, I will get up and grab breakfast then get my haircut. Don’t really have anything else planned until it’s time for dinner. I am going to head to an expensive place that is about 30 minutes away. They run on reservations but if you get there when the doors open at 4p you can usually grab a seat at the bar with no problem. I’m not wild about eating at a bar but there is no way I can get a reservation for just me especially this late in the week. This place is always busy year round. They not only have good food but some fine looking guys working there so I think of it as a double treat. My eyes and my stomach will be pleased.
I’m in a meeting at work and my boss is rambling on with a vendor, there really isn’t anything important going on from my perspective. Figured might as well get in my post for the day since I am sure that perhaps one of you were wondering how my review went. Now that is done were good until next year when we do it all over again.
