Last night was uneventful, caught up on some TV and had a lot of time on my hands. Mora hogged my attention for most of the night and I got a scratch on my arm when she decided to jump and claw me in the process.
It was 79 degrees last night inside the house, I slept with fans on and left them on today when I headed out because it will be about that hot when I get home.
Opted to try a new ice cream bar flavor from Haggen Das called Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Pretzel. The coating on the bar easily flaked off which is fine but it landed on my shirt and the floor. Mora really wanted it too. Over all I’d give the bar a rating of 9 out of 10 just because of the mess it created. The Churro bar is still my favorite, like eating cinnamon ice cream.
Caught up on some drama at work. My desk had plenty of stuff on it. I didn’t pay close enough attention when I placed my calendar order and wound up with an item that I have no use for. I’ve passed it back to find a new home for it.
Learned late in the morning that my dumb co-worker called in but only by chance of sending him an email and getting his bounce back message. I think he’s either got a bunch of stuff going on in his life or he is fixing to leave. I wish he would get his act together but I have been wishing that for a long time. I figure that if I have to mop up after him that I am better off doing the work myself, so I have kept a large portion of it so that I know it gets done right the first time.
Had a nice drive in, cool morning. Hope that the drive home is just as easy even if it won’t be as cool out. Looking forward to seeing Mora and Rudy. Rudy did his job and had me up by 5:30a even though I didn’t need to get up until 6a. I just sat still and let him lay on me. It’s kind of comforting as long as he manages to stay lean, if he gets as big as his sister I am in trouble.
