Back to normal

So tomorrow will be Monday on a Tuesday.  I like short work weeks but the only problem is everyone tries to cram that extra day in to one if not more than one of the working days. 

I have enjoyed my time away, even if it was only 1 extra day.  It feels like I have been off for a week and I honestly don’t want to go back.  I love sitting on the couch with Marv as he takes possession of my arm and hand and snuggles up to me and falls asleep.  Just looking around and seeing everyone sleeping and content is such a blessing and so very enjoyable. 

This morning I had breakfast at Cracker Barrel.  Got some Gas for the vehicle.  Came home and resumed laundry and cleaning.  Got in a 1/2 hour nap.  Spent time with Marv.  Got my vehicle windows cleaned and took out the trash.  Then showered and shaved.  Got the bed changed and put my foam cushion back on the bed for what I hope will be a better nights rest.  Finished off the casserole.  Had some cookies and way too much soda.  Lunch and Breakfast are ready to go.  Pills are out for the kids.  Now all I need to do is trim my claws, brush my teeth and turn out the lights. 

Momma is telling me we are past normal time.  So that means I can’t talk too much longer.  Backed up my iPhone to my computer.  Picked out new tunes to sync up.  Wow music it’s so powerful.  You can feel such a wide range of emotions just from a song.  You can be on top of the world and feel great, then hear a song and everything comes crashing down.  At least that is true for me.  I try to steer clear of those sad songs and stay with up beat music.  I listen to Instrumental Jazz during the work day it keeps me focused.  Plus it helps to drown out a little of the background noise I have to put up with.  The joys of cube life. 

Going up to watch some re-runs of the Big Bang Theory.  American Greed is on at 9 so that will be good.  The question is will I be able to stay awake for it?  Once I relax, I doze off.  That’s why I record everything I am interested in so that I can rewind and pick up from the part where I fell asleep at. 

Momma has wondered off so I am going to grab my laundry and join her and the rest of the family on the main level where we shall pass away the rest of the night.  Shameless was on last night and I thought it was horrible.  Hopefully, things get better.  Suits will be back on Wednesday and I am so looking forward to seeing what Louis & Harvey are up to.  That show is not the same without Mike but just like with life, the show must go on.
