Quick & Dirty

Good morning!  I got to wake Rudy up this morning.  He was all snuggled up next to me and resting, he looked so peaceful.  I watched the clock and when we got to the time, I just said Rudy and his eyes sprang open.  He stood up and stretched then got on my chest and started making biscuits, then curled up and looked at me face to face.  Mora was sitting in the recliner next to my bed just watching us.  I said morning to her as well.  I got Rudy off of me and we headed out of the bedroom and to the kitchen.

I don’t know how but I managed to beat Rudy to the kitchen, normally he’s really close behind me but there was a lag before he arrived.  I got his food plated and served.  Then went on to get some cereal for myself.

I’ve got a bunch of stuff to take care of at work that has to do with the acquisition and I’ve been on it for a few hours.  My colleague hasn’t yet started with his part which I will admit is larger than mine.  I think it’s only fair since I have done most of the work for years that he finally gets a larger piece of the pie.  Management knows I am wicked fast and accurate, they like that.  Unfortunately, there is only one me.  If I had a colleague that worked just like I did we would plow through this little adventure much quicker.  However, my eyes are only focused on my part now.  I was a little nervous at first but once I got a routine going I picked up a rhythm and I was like a hot knife going through butter.  I am no where near done but needed to take a break for a bit.

My neighbor decided to trim some of the bushes by his house last night.  He piled them up on top of a pile he made last year.  I got my hopes up last year that he would haul all of it away but well that never happened.  I would love to turn him in but I don’t want any retaliation.  I’m sure there is probably some minor violation that I could get cited for if someone looked really hard and I’d rather not go down that road.  However, I have to look at this crap rotting away when I open my back blind and look out my deck.  I used to think he was hot but he’s done some things that soured my view of him and his family and I just want them to leave or at the very least not bother me.  It sucks living next to someone you don’t care for but hey it could always be worse.  We haven’t had any words and as far as he knows were still on good terms.

I had Stromboli (Pepperoni & Cheese) for supper last night.  I’ve got two more pieces that will make up another meal.  If I buy one of these again I will be picking up some pizza sauce to go with it, they are good but a bit too dry for me.  Desert was the best a hot apple fritter sprinkled with a little cinnamon sugar.  Washed that down with an ice cold glass of milk.

Forced myself to get back to writing and continuing a story that I started.  I didn’t want to but once I got to thinking about it I picked up like I never left off.  It was good to escape reality for a bit.

I need to get back to the grind.  Hope that your having a good day and all is well.  Talk with you again soon, take care!
