Welcome. I had a nice post all composed, I thought I hit publish got side tracked with work. Saw that I had a window open with my post and I closed it. I was prompted about backing it up before closing but I said no. Damn that was the wrong answer!
Things have calmed down at work or at least they did for the morning. I am at an afternoon lull but that could change at any moment. I’ve got 2 meetings this afternoon before the day is done.
Tomorrow being Friday is a great thing but work is going to suck. My afternoon and evening will be busy but it’s nothing I haven’t been through before. Organized Chaos or something like that. I have no concerns about making it through and I will be glad once tomorrow is over though.
No specific plans for the weekend, thinking about Pizza from the place where the cute waiters usually are. The last few times I have gone it’s been nothing but girls working and well that does nothing for me, but the food is still good. I like food and eye candy its a great combo.
Speaking of pizza I finished the Stromboli last night. I had some cheese sauce that I put on one piece and it helped a little bit but honestly it needs pizza sauce. I had another Apple Fritter with Cinnamon Sugar and a glass of milk for desert a few hours after I had my dinner.
I wanted to go back to writing last night but I really wanted to watch TV as well. I was torn but chose to watch TV. Nothing specific just random You Tube videos. I found an interesting conversation about VPN’s that I watched to the point where it started to lull me to sleep. I stopped it and went to bed. Resumed it this afternoon it was interesting not really entertainment per se but enjoyable to me.
The cats are doing okay, still not playing with there birthday present. In fact they don’t even sleep in it anymore, they just walk right by it like it’s not even there. I’m going to bait it with some cat nip to see if I can get there interest back. I honestly feel my gut is right that I wasted $70 but if I hadn’t I’d never know their reaction. I put Rudy in it earlier in the week and he was just starting to get the hang of it when he ran away from me. You can’t make a cat do something it doesn’t want to do but you can die trying.
Super hot here and it’s going to get worse so says the weatherman the next two days will be the hottest days of the summer yet. Nothing new really, were about to approach August so it’s on par weather. Summer lives for a bit longer maybe 1 to 2 months and then we will jump into Fall.
