Back to it

Another Monday and back to the so called “fun”.  I was able to take care of everything on my calendar before I left for lunch.  I took a little bit of an extended lunch break but had my phone near by just in case.  It’s kind of a slow day.  Had one boring meeting, which I could have done without. 

Nothing profound to report from the weekend.  I took Saturday as a rot day and stayed home.  I was planning on going out for Mexican food but opted to just stay home and watch TV, nap and generally be lazy.  The cats sure enjoyed the extra attention they got.

Yesterday I got back to my normal routine and went out for Mexican food.  I didn’t go to the restaurant I wanted to, I went to a place nearby.  I still got some great food and was able to get home quicker and spend more time with the cats and enjoy a relaxing evening. 

I got more frozen food to eat so I shouldn’t starve this week, which is a good thing.  I managed to stay away from the junk food and kind of feel like I didn’t buy much from the grocery store.  However, I spent a fair amount of money typical of what a normal grocery run would cost. 

We have a couple days of warmer weather and of course on Wednesday is when we go back to the freezer.  There is a chance of rain and/or snow.  That might make the commute interesting.  I am already finding ways to talk myself out of going but as difficult as it is I want to make it.  I know I will feel good about myself if I actually make it in.  For now the plan is to go.

I’m fighting with my eyes from itching.  Watched a couple YouTube videos on Blepharitis and found some interesting wipes that might help me.  I have yet to place any order but it’s high on my to do list. 

Rudy continues to pour on the attention and beg for food when I eat.  Saturday night he jumped up on the table.  He quickly was removed and placed back on the floor.  I told him that cats aren’t permitted on the table.  I know that’s not the first time he’s been up there but it’s the first time it happened that I actually witnessed and while I was eating.  I make sure that he gets all of the attention he wants and I give in to his requests for playtime.  Mora gets her fair share of attention and playtime as well.  They both get treats and brushings.  I don’t possibly know what else I could do for them as they take up a considerable amount of my time.  Seems like they are both constantly wanting more. 

I got to reboot the computer and then head up for the day.  There is nothing going on at work but I will be watching from my phone and will spring in to action if needed.  Here’s hoping for a nice evening.
