Happy Saturday!

Thus far I’ve made most all of the progress I was hoping to.  Woke up early and made it to breakfast out.  Had my Greek Pizza thing and it was good.  Saw something else on their menu that caught my eye it’s a burger served between two glazed donuts, sound interesting.  Lots of sugar there but also a lot of flavor.

Made it to the office and I was the only one there for a little bit.  It’s a little strange going in on a weekend and no one being around but that was the benefit.  I worked on the door and things went better than I could hope for.  It looks like there is a short in the wiring either within the door or in the ceiling.  I have to call an electrician to work on it.  The door is fine as long as no one uses it but once it is open wide enough even for the thinnest of people that’s when things go out.  Then it closes and with a little bit of time it resets and comes back to life.  Apparently there are more people back in the office and using it so that’s why I have been getting complaints.  Saw my voice mail light on and I’m sure there is something interesting on the other end waiting for me along with email in my in-box.  I didn’t peek, just stuck to the task at hand being the door and I got out of dodge when I was done.  Took me a couple hours including travel and then I was back home. 

Hot and tired when I got home, I took a nap with the cats.  Then woke up had a Diet Coke and a Blueberry Muffin for lunch.  Then outside to tackle a couple tasks.  I applied a patch to the siding to cover the hole.  The material is not the same color as my siding so it stands out but at least the hole is covered.  I need to keep an eye on it to make sure it stays stuck there was some talk about it coming undone and then using a blow dryer to make it adhere.  I’m hoping I don’t have to do any of that.  Next was on to put in the extra battery in the door camera, that went like a snap.  All done with outdoor work for now.  Still have the gap to cover with some foam on the side of the house. 

While I was working one of my neighbors got a new vehicle.  I watched him get in it, drive it out of his garage onto the street and he parked next to his mailbox for a minute, grabbed the mail and then put the vehicle away in the garage.  Either he got bad news in the mail or he is super lazy.  I’ve never seen him do anything like that before. 

Speaking of news, my lab results came in this morning.  Apparently I was due for a Hepatitis screening and they did that.  That is what held things up.  The results are all good and I don’t have Titus, never thought I did and didn’t realize they did screenings for it.  My A1C is still at 6.1% which is where it was last time.  I figured out that I lost 8 pounds since I was there last and I’m hoping that the pounds continue to come off, despite my sedentary lifestyle. 

Working on laundry now and planning to go out to Red Lobster for supper unless I manage to change my mind.  I look forward to enjoying a decent meal and for entertainment I hope to see some hot guys but not holding my breath on that one.  Still feeling quite lonely and no prospects on the dating app.  I think I should have withdrawn my money from the bank and poured gas on it and lit it on fire it, at least I would have been able to watch a show instead of giving it away to some app that does nothing for me. 

The sun is out and the heat is back on here.  My AC is running and it feels nice to be indoors.  Hope that you had/have a great day!
